Next Generation Biomarkers in Cancer and Autoimmune Diseases. Multi-Omics Approaches and Translational Medicine
Submission Abstract:
The identification and validation of biomarkers offers invaluable insights into the early detection, prognosis, and therapeutic monitoring of cancer and autoimmune diseases. The integration of multi-omics technologies—genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics—has accelerated the discovery of these novel biomarkers. However, translating these discoveries into clinical practice remains a challenge due to validation hurdles, variability in patient responses, and regulatory considerations.
This Special Issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research on biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical application, with a particular focus on emerging technologies and multi-omics integration.
By bridging fundamental biochemical research with clinical applications, this Special Issue aims to accelerate the development of reliable biomarkers that can shape the future of diagnostics and targeted therapies in cancer and autoimmune diseases.
We invite authors with original research articles, computational and bioinformatics analysis articles, systematic reviews, and perspectives on topics including above but not limited to sub-topics.
